Stay up to date with new features, performance improvements, fixes, and other changes to Casabase Cube.
Casabase Cube is delivered as a Snowflake Native Application. New versions are distributed through Snowflake, allowing customers to upgrade the application while keeping their cube data and configuration within their own Snowflake environment.

Release type: Patch
Version 4.1.4 adds rest-of-period Dynamic Time Series for ROY and ROQ, extends Dynamic Time Series to cubes without an Accounts dimension, and corrects Point of View handling for member names and mixed periodic and period-to-date selections.
Casabase Cube 4.1.2

Release type: Patch
Version 4.1.2 improves solve-order routing for ASO outlines and enhances Essbase formula translation for NONEMPTYTUPLE. ASO cubes with imported outlines are automatically re-imported and rebuilt during upgrade, with no manual steps required.
Casabase Cube 4.1.1

Version 4.1.1 introduces asymmetric reports, a Cortex Code (CoCo) skill for AI-assisted cube development, in-app cube creation limits based on plan and licensing, and improved numerical precision for fact table measures.

Release type: Minor (contains breaking changes)
Version 4.1.0 updates Casabase Cube terminology from hierarchy to dimension across procedures, consumer views, and configuration. This release contains breaking changes for integrations that reference hierarchy-related procedure or view names and requires Cortex Agent users to redeploy their AI Agent after upgrading.

Version 4.0.1 adds scheduled saved queries, improves hierarchy build reliability and concurrency protection, significantly improves query compilation performance for formula-heavy queries, and strengthens upgrade handling.

Version 4.0.0 introduces a major formula engine upgrade, Dynamic Time Series calculations, attribute dimensions, solve-order routing, enhanced row-level security modes, and expanded audit capabilities.

Patch releases generally contain targeted improvements and fixes, while major releases may introduce significant new functionality or changes to application behavior.
Upgrades
Section titled “Upgrades”Casabase Cube updates are distributed through the Snowflake Native App Framework.
When a release requires customer action or contains specific upgrade considerations, those requirements are documented in the Upgrade Notes section of the corresponding release notes.
Data Residency
Section titled “Data Residency”Application upgrades do not move customer cube data outside of the customer’s Snowflake environment.
Casabase Cube operates within the customer’s Snowflake account, and cube data remains within that environment during normal application operation and upgrades.
