Casabase Cube 4.1.5 expands Dynamic Time Series with rest-of-period calculations, adds XML outline support for Oracle Essbase migrations, improves Agent discovery and integration, and corrects issues affecting querying, formulas, Time Balance, and row-level security.
Dynamic Time Series
Section titled “Dynamic Time Series”Rest-of-Period Dynamic Time Series
Section titled “Rest-of-Period Dynamic Time Series”Dynamic Time Series now supports rest-of-period calculations with:
ROY— Rest of YearROQ— Rest of QuarterROH— Rest of Half
These members complement the existing YTD, QTD, and HTD period-to-date calculations.
Rest-of-period Dynamic Time Series can be configured through the Admin UI or with MANAGE_CUBE_DTS.
Oracle Essbase Migration
Section titled “Oracle Essbase Migration”XML Outline Import
Section titled “XML Outline Import”Oracle Essbase cubes can now be migrated using an XML representation of the Essbase outline in addition to the native OTL file.
Use IMPORT_ESSBASE_OUTLINE_XML to import an XML outline.
This provides an additional migration path for Oracle Essbase applications and improves handling of attribute dimensions during outline import.
The existing OTL-based migration process remains supported and unchanged.
Time Balance
Section titled “Time Balance”LAST Balance Calculations
Section titled “LAST Balance Calculations”Corrected a rounding issue for accounts configured with LAST Time Balance behavior.
Formula Translation
Section titled “Formula Translation”Formula translation from Oracle Essbase has been improved for several constructs.
Improvements include:

- The
MISSINGkeyword NONEMPTYTUPLE()%operator precedence
Security
Section titled “Security”Dynamic Time Series with MASK Security
Section titled “Dynamic Time Series with MASK Security”Dynamic Time Series queries now execute correctly when MASK security is applied.
Previously, this combination could cause the query to fail.
Agent Improvements
Section titled “Agent Improvements”Faster Discovery
Section titled “Faster Discovery”The Agent discover tool has been significantly improved for large cubes.
Discovery is now substantially faster and no longer truncates metadata when working with large cube structures.
Application Integration
Section titled “Application Integration”Agent capabilities are now used within Casabase Cube application pages, providing AI-assisted functionality directly in the application experience.
